Warehouse system using batches? It works.

Mr. Procházka from the company Procházka-chocolate specialities s.r.o. asked us to build an extension over the Cézar warehouse system. Since he needs to use batches and also because some of his suppliers already indicate batches on their products in GS1-128 codes, the main condition was to incorporate them into the project.

We have been working with software over ERP systems since 1996, so preparing the environment on Android terminals - in this case, Cipherlab RK26 terminals - was already routine.

We prepared the warehouse operation for these warehouse processes:

warehouse receipt - according to the order issued and new ad-hoc receipt
dispatch from the warehouse - according to the order received and new dispatch ad-hoc
inventory
warehouse view - after removing the code, the information about the warehouse item is displayed, the batch overview is also displayed
data collection for GS1-128 bulk printing using Bartender

Although we still had to incorporate the new work with shbatches, we managed to do this in a short time and have now successfully implemented GS1-128 into our warehouse solution.
