The reader inside the ARU-2400 has excellent technical characteristics. The powerful RAIN RFID interface known from Kathrein and the robustdesign are also present in this 27-dBm-class reader. For this reason, the reader can be used in various applications. It is particularly in the areas of Industrial Automation and Kanban solutions in which the ARU2400 can play to its strengths.
The ARU-2400 provides new mounting and connection options. The housing of the ARU-2400 can easily be installed in existingshelves using the mounting points for the so-called ITEM profiles, which enables quick and cost-effective new installations or retrofitting.
The integrated SMSH High-Gain antenna system with an opening angle of 60°/60° enables extremely selective detection of the transponders in the desired reading field.
