A quick asset inventory? RFID lets you do what used to take a week
Recently, one of Notino's branches conducted its first sharp inventory of assets using RFID technology.
The application worked exactly as expected, the loading of tags into the terminal was smooth and the import/export of records was flawless. Our customer expressed his satisfaction with the simplicity and efficiency of the tagging process. The tags, both regular and metal ones, hold up well and work without any problems.
Thanks to the successful implementation, the plan is to use RFID technology not only in offices, but also in stores and warehouses. For tag reading we have chosen the CipherLab RS36 mobile terminal and a suitable RFID UHF attachment. The terminal offers an excellent price/performance ratio and we have a good price on offer. The UHF RFID tags for asset tagging we selected were Avery Dennison AVS-23X-U9-W100 and Zebra 10026767, which we also printed on aPrintronix T6204e RFID printer. We have already tested this printer and can definitely recommend it for printing and encoding RFID tags.
